Students leave feeling calm, uplifted, energized, and ageless. Gyrotonic sessions are offered in private and duet lessons and group classes.
The GYROKINESIS ® METHOD
Gyrokinesis classes gently work the entire body, opening energetic pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences that look like a combination of dance, swimming, tai chi, and yoga. Classes are performed seated on a stool, standing, and on the floor to offer a variety of different options for those with different ability levels.
Pilates workouts target specific muscles to create balanced strength and correct alignment in the body. The fundamental Pilates principles of breath, alignment, and correct form combined with a good dose of fun offer a safe, full-body workout that will leave you feeling taller, stronger, and more alive. Pilates sessions are offered in private and duet lessons and group classes, both on the equipment and on the mat.
Our yoga teachers tailor each class to the needs of the participants, helping students understand the intention behind the poses and how to safely modify them as needed. The calm and centering that you take away from your yoga class permeates all aspects of your life.
Your therapeutic massage will be tailored to your needs of the day. Techniques used may include:
-Swedish Massage to create a deep state of relaxation and ease;
-Neuromuscular Therapy to eliminate trigger points and other patterns that create pain and dysfunction;
-Myofascial Therapy to release strain patterns in the connective tissues and restore health and vitality to the whole body.
The Raindrop Technique is a powerful technique that combines unique, targeted massage and energy approaches with pure, authentic essential oils for a deeply harmonizing, rejuvenating, and relaxing experience. The technique draws from Native American wellness traditions and provides a revolutionary means of nurturing harmony—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
